GET IN YOUR HOOP! ™
Hooping is growing exponentially and with this growth I tend to hear people rating their skills with the skills of another. While it is easy to marvel at the personal practice of an experienced Hooper, it doesn’t mean you’ve missed it if you don’t hoop that way.  Quite the contrary. HoopDance isn’t about how “good” you are with a hoop…HoopDance is about who you “are” when you are inside your hoop. Getting in your hoop makes you feel happy, washes away stress and helps you feel balanced.  Hooping helps you lose weight, create community, brightens your outlook.  If you continue to experience workshops and classes from masters (and I hope you do!) and practice regularly you can become a great Hooper in the context of skill set and style… however, you can be every bit as beautiful a Hooper if you do what you know and simply let it flow from your heart.

“Hello Mollie!!!! I just wanted to express gratitude to you for all you have done for the hooping community in Bend, and for me as well. When I was a little kid I had to wear these special shoes for a severe pigeon foot, and I was very aware of the fact that my feet were "funny" my whole life I have been told that I was clumsy and ungraceful and have felt that way until I started hooping. It gives me such a sense of freedom, and I do it for no other reason than to feel free and beautiful. I was really nervous about starting a class, and self-conscious about my ability, but you were and are such a generous teacher and person and such an inspiration. Thanks you for what you are bringing to the community.” ~Courtney

“Mollie my dear, Just wanted to say you’re a great teacher and your class is so much fun . You are an inspiration to me. i'm so glad i met you. Tell your mother she's beautiful and to keep hooping. Thank you for the re-cap on what we learned....it was helpful.” ~Crystal

“My favorite part of the class was challenging myself to try something new and seeing the results!  Hooping is a way for me to release all the negative thoughts and energy that I’ve built up during the day while burning calories and feeling great!”  ~Marcy Connell

“After a day at work I am usually worn out at crabby.  I came to class feeling that way and I always went home happy and relaxed! ~Level one student

“When I started the first class I took, I was self conscious about my weight and clumsiness. Now it makes me smile and I feel a great sense of achievement. I am amazed that at first I couldn’t keep it up and now an hour and a half goes so fast!” ~Sheila

"In Mollie's hoopdance class I felt like I had a safe space to be and move however I want, and she is so encouraging!  I feel sexier and more playful in life because of this class!" ~Angelina Swanson

"I loved the energy the hoopdance class had and how it was very welcoming and positive.  Of course I love learning all the sweet moves.  It was an eye opening experience to a fun activity that can and does make music and dancing much more fun and interesting for dancers and those who are watching.  Plus there is so much positive energy in the air!" ~Kristi Degulis

"You introduced so many layers and textures to what hooping can be--philosophy, sport, challenge, games, love...Thank you so much Mollie, I can't describe the joy I have had!"  ~David Boorstein
